Angelo’s Steak Pit
Angelo’s Steak Pit is hard to miss when passing by; just look for the giant bull outside, Big Gus, and you’ll know the place. Angelo’s is a delicious steak house that has been around since 1957 and is still going strong. The dress is casual dressy, so you won’t have to wear your fanciest clothes to the restaurant. It’s located right on Front Beach Road, and it’s just a short 2 mile drive from the newly rebuilt Hathaway Bridge. The menu is typical of a steak house, featuring salads, soups, hamburgers, seafood, chicken, and of course steak. This is a family favorite of many families, with some coming to eat at Angelo’s every time they visit PCB.
Capt. Anderson’s Restaurant and Waterfront Market
Capt. Anderson’s is an award winning seafood restaurant, going on it’s 44th year in business. Seating 725 people 6 nights a week, it serves over 250,000 guests during the months a year it’s open. If you arrive early at Capt. Anderson’s you can watch the fishing fleets coming in from the Gulf of Mexico and unload their daily catch. The restaurant is located at the beautiful Grand Lagoon marina, which gives it a stunning atmosphere to dine it. This is definitely a family favorite and highly recommend if you’ve never eaten their before.
Pineapple Willy’s
Pineapple Willy’s is a beachside restaurant that features a pier going right out on the beach. The name is derived from their now signature rum drink, the Pineapple Willy. This local and tourist favorite is always packed full after sundown, featuring live bands nightly. The dress is extremely casual, and you can even dine in with your beach attire if you wish. The menu features something for everybody, ranging from seafood to chicken, hamburgers to delicious fall off the bone ribs, and tons of specialty drinks only found here.
